I've always known I wanted to be a stylist - even when I was a little girl, I couldn't keep my hands out of people's hair. I've always liked the feel of hair between my fingers. Having been born and raised in this area and graduating from Montevideo High School in 2001, I attended Aveda Institute in Minneapolis where I received my cosmetology license. I've been a stylist in Montevideo for eight years and particularly enjoy learning new things. I consider Nirvana my home away from home and truly enjoy helping customers achieve the look they desire.

When I'm not at the salon, I love spending time with my two little girls – Kendall and Kensey.

I studied esthiology and cosmetology at the Aveda Institute in Minneapolis during 2006 and 2007. I specialized in: coloring, cutting, special occasion updos, make-up application, facials, manicures and pedicures. My focus is to promote the well-being of my client and make them look and feel beautiful. In my free time I enjoy photography and love playing “dolls” and having “tea parties” with my daughter, Poppy Isabella.

"Hi...I'm Crystal Plate. I went to Ingenue Beauty School in Moorhead for cosmetology in 2005. I worked in a salon in Moorhead for a year before relocating to Rosemount where I worked in a salon for an additional two years before relocating to the Dawson area and having my son Ace. I started working at Nirvana in October of 2009 where I specialize in haircuts, colors, pedicures and manicures. I also am getting back into gel nails (exciting)!!!!

My name is Rebecca (Becky) Schuelke and I would love to be your new stylist! I graduated in August 2009 from Model College of Hair Design in Saint Cloud, MN. I started my schooling at Stewart School, Sioux Falls, SD and transferred to MCHD. By going to both of these schools I have learned a wide variety of up-to-date techniques to make me a better cosmetologist and better serve you! I am skilled in: hair cutting, coloring, texturizing (perming), braid-in hair extensions, special occasion updos, acrylic nails, manicuring, pedicures, reflexology, facials, makeup application and much more. I have always had a passion for the beauty industry – it just took me awhile to make it official and now that I am here, I can't wait to see what the future has in store! Hi everyone – my name is Daniela. I am a stylist at the beautiful Nirvana Salon and Spa. Some of my specialties are personalized makeup applications, cuts and colors, manicures, pedicures and special occasion styles.
I graduated from Montevideo High School in 2007 and relocated to the Fargo/Moorhead area for three years. My hometown passion brought me back to share my professional skills with the community. Outside of the salon I enjoy reading a good book and spending time with my family and friends. Sharing my skills has been a privilege and I look forward to expanding my clientele.
